Yay! The Nordstrom #NSale! It’s here! Cardholders start shopping the presale 7/12 & the Nsale opens to the public 7/19. The sale ends 8/4 and everything returns to regular price on 8/5.
What makes this sale so special?
Nordstrom brings out new fall product and immediately marks it down for a limited time. This is your chance to score the hottest items for the upcoming season for a discount long before they hit the sale racks. These are also high quality pieces, and you’ll be able to get classic pieces that normally NEVER go on sale.
That said, things sell out FAST! At time of this posting, I’m including several sold out items because most of you said you’ll be shopping public access, and I have a good feeling a lot of these will have restocks (benefit of being in the biz at one point 😉 One thing I love about Nordstrom is that everything ships (& returns) FREE. So, my best advice is if there’s something you’re considering, go ahead and add it to your cart and check out. Free shipping & free returns so go for it!
My approach to the NSale
To make sure I don’t have buyer’s remorse or miss out on something I end up wanting all season long and finally buying at a higher price, I am looking at my early predictions for Fall 2019 trends and the current holes in my closet, as well as items that are worth the price to me (vs maybe a less expensive dupe), and making my list from there. Early Fall 2019 Trend Report
- Incoming – Snakeskin!! I started recommending this for spring and it’s really going to have a moment starting big in fall!!
- Leopard continues, as does camo – in beautiful feminine colourways as well as all the camo variations
- Flare Legs
- Monochromatic outfits (think white jeans with a white cami, ivory chunky sweater and tan boots or booties 😍 – I’ll just be over here swooning;)
- Boyfriend, chunky, oversized, high-waisted, button details, hats all continue
- Remember: small details elevate looks!
NSale Shoes
Black OTK chunky heel sock boots NSale $87 After Sale $130 Starting with my favorites & what I think are the best deal of the sale! Last fall the Goodnight Macaroon over the knee boots stayed in my cart all season. They really were perfect – chunky heal, pointed toe, sock fit in the back so they stay up. Living in South Florida I couldn’t justify $160 for another pair of over the knee boots without hubby raising an eyebrow. These beauties are pretty much identical and half the price. SO GOOD!!! These will be my first purchase!
Studded pointy toe flats Nsale $60 After Sale $90 These flats are so good! I love the snakeskin and this perfect grey! Either will be amazing neutrals for all of fall and winter. Wear either of these with all white and ivory or throw them on with jeans and a tee or wear them to work!
Perfect fall booties NSale $100 After Sale $150 Annnnd the perfect fall booties. Currently these are sold out, so I’m crossing all fingers and toes they restock!! These are literally perfect!!
Knee High Block Heel Boot NSale $150 After Sale $225 These are just the perfect wear everywhere with everything boot!
Waterproof Knee Boots NSale $160 After Sale $240 Several of you asked for cold weather gear – these seem like the perfect fall and winter boot – super stylish and waterproof!!

NSale Bottoms
Keeping it simple here. My background in denim design and sourcing can make me a denim snob, but honestly most retailers have unlocked beautiful fabrics, fits, washes, and design details. That said, nothing fits quite like Madewell denim and they nearly never go on sale, so if you’ve been eyeing them, BUY THEM NOW. Also, Spanx faux leather leggings are the holy grail of fashion leggings for good reason. They go on sale twice a year and this is the lowest price. Get them. They’re worth the $65 even in Florida! And Zella leggings earn their high priase for good reason as well – also a great deal on the NSale.
